Allen Junior Huffman

Allen Junior Huffman, 67, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Carolina Caring following a period of declining health.

Allen was born December 18, 1958 in Burke County to the late Plez Huffman and Jessie Lowman Huffman. He was a member of Walkers Chapel Baptist Church and worked as an upholster at Sherrill Furniture. In his spare time he loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Sutton Huffman.

He is survived by his stepson, Shaun Daniels; siblings, McKinley “Ken” Huffman and wife Marilyn; Brenda Lail, Geneva Massey and husband, Doug, Merita King, and Sharon Parker and husband Buck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Danny McNeilley officiating. Inurnment will be held at Walkers Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

The family will gather with friends prior to the service on Friday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
