Ann Smith Worley, 82, of Longview, passed away at her home on Monday, May 11, 2026 following a period of declining health.

Ann was born on September 18, 1943 in Catawba County, a daughter of the late Cloyd Ernest Smith and Mary Estus Mayse Smith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by five brothers, five sisters, a grandson, and two great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sharon Worley, Elizabeth W. Hunt, Kenneth E. Worley, and Michael S. Worley; four children; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
