Betsy Summerlin Greene

Betsy Jane “Beebop” Summerlin Greene, 70, of Morganton, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Betsy was born February 16, 1955 in Burke County to the late Marvin Summerlin and Johnnie Fisher Summerlin. She loved to be on the lake, gardening, and spending time with her animals, Bella and Tinkerbell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Keith Summerlin; and one great grandchild.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dudley Greene; daughters, Leslie Hudson and Carrie Hudson; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister, Donna Wilkes and husband Harold.
