Brianna McKenzie Gillispie, 20, of Morganton, passed away at home on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Brianna was born December 31, 2005 in Caldwell County, a daughter of Joseph Fitch and Amanda Gillispie.

She is preceded in passing by her grandfather, John Gillispie and Mamaw Francis, and grandmother, Lisa Gillispie.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Amanda Gillispie (Adam); father, Joseph Fitch; grandparents, Jeannie and Michael Fitch; brothers, Skyler Gillispie, Willie Ammons, and Blake Ammons; uncles, Robert Propst, David Marco, and Beth Boyce; aunts, Carrie Dennis and Jackie Coffer (Mark); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory is assisting the family.
