Carl Leonard Ross

Carl Leonard Ross, 66, of Forest City, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, following a period of declining health.

Carl was born March 3, 1959 in Iredell County, a son of the late Carl Ross and Joan Mitchell Ross Bradshaw. He loved to piddle and tinker with most anything. He had a special love of music, and he could often be found singing and listening to it all through the night.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by a beloved stepfather, Vernon Bradshaw; grandparents, Alcy Truitt and C.W. Truitt; and an uncle, Harley Ross.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Mary Beth Ross Fullerton; grandchildren, Taylor Fullerton (Riley) and Collin Fullerton; brothers, Vernon David Bradshaw (Carol) and Jesse Ross (Diane); and sisters, Penny Ross Mick and Rose Ross Dupuis (Lee).

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
