Christopher Alan Townsend

Christopher Alan Townsend, 44, of Arden, NC, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Chris was born June 17, 1981 in Burke County to Timothy Townsend and Patty Bowlin. He is a graduate of Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC) and worked at Curtis Hi Tech Auto Service Center and managed operations. Chris loved life, and when he loved, he loved BIG, showing compassion and selflessness to everyone that crossed his path. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by everyone.

He is survived by his son, Parker Townsend (loving girlfriend, Jennifer Gonzalez) of Arden; mother and step-father, Patty and Mike Albright of Morganton; brother, Chad Townsend and wife Chasity of Hickory; nephew, Truitt Townsend; dad, Tim Townsend of Lenoir; and girlfriend Lauren Bradley. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Randy Bowlin officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
