Cory Lowman

Mr. Cory Neil Lowman, 47, of Hildebran, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer at Amorem Hospice of Burke. Though his time here was far too short, Cory filled every moment with love, laughter and unforgettable memories that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. We hold tightly to the promise of being reunited with him one day in Heaven.

Cory was born on January 11, 1978, in Catawba County to Larry Eugene Lowman and Deborah Rhyne Lowman. He dedicated many years to Skeet’s Wrecker Service in Conover as the transport supervisor, where his hard work and big heart left a lasting impact. To his coworkers, Cory wasn’t just part of the team, he was family. His absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Brandey Bollinger Lowman of the home, son Blake Rudisill and fiancé Gracie Lane of Morganton, his parents, Larry and Debbie Lowman of Hildebran, brother Justin Lowman and wife JoAnn of Connelly Springs, two nieces, Candance and Allison Lowman, and his mother and father in-law, Penny and George Bollinger of Claremont. Cory was a former member/Lieutenant of Icard Township Fire and Rescue and a member of Mount Hebron Lutheran Church in Hildebran.

Cory was a devoted husband to Brandey, a proud and loving father to Blake and shared an unbreakable bond with his faithful companion, Jax, who rarely left his side.

A Celebration of Life for Cory will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese, from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. where family and friends are invited to gather, remember and honor the beautiful life he lived.
