Crystal Dawn Loven

Crystal Dawn Loven, 56, of Morganton passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at her home following a period of declining health.

Crystal was born April 15, 1969 in Burke County, NC. She was a member at Hopewell Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death are her father, Paul Cody; and her sister, Bobbie Spurlin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother; Jo Ellen Cody of Morganton; brother, Joel Mincey and wife Martha of Morganton; uncle, Bobby Mauney and wife Carolyn of Glen Alpine; numerous cousins and extended family members; and dedicated nurses and caregivers, Tracy Houck, Dee Bane, Lori Stephens, and Sue Richards.

A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Braden Martin officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, on Saturday from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at Hopewell Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Tuberous Sclerosis Foundation.
