Danny Gene Huffman, 66, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at his home following a period of declining health.

Danny was born August 3, 1959 in Burke County, a son of the late Billy Burgin and Sylvia Jean Franklin Huffman. He owned D&T Automotive in Connelly Springs, and he spent many years working there as a mechanic. His work was his hobby, and he enjoyed fixing vehicles day in and day out. In the spare time he allowed himself, he loved to camp out on his land.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by a son, Jason Allen Huffman, and a sister, Judy Kay Partain.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Wesley Wayne Huffman and Jerry Allen Huffman; sons, Billy Daniel Huffman of Leland, NC, Jamie Lester Hanna of Marion, NC, and Glenn Ray Huffman (Linda) of Connelly Springs, NC; girlfriend, Janie Chandler; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.

No services will be held at this time.
