David Charles Baker

David Charles Baker, 73, of Morganton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, June 27, 2025.

David was born October 31, 1951 in Warsaw, New York to the late Raymond Baker and Arlene Wallace Baker. He worked as a physician’s assistant and was an excellent, multi-talented musician. David was a loving, giving, and caring man to all of his family and friends; and could always tell a funny story or joke.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Chris Baker; and brother, Larry Baker.

He is survived by his daughter, Marissa Baker; son, Josh Baker and wife Zoë Shear; granddaughter, Ali Baker; brother, Bruce Baker and wife Mary; and his beloved cat, Joey.
