David Wilburn Vance

David Wilburn Vance, age 64, went home to be with the Lord following a brief illness on December 12,2025. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born in Chicago Illinois, but spent most of his life in North Carolina. David spent many years working in furniture at Bernhardt and then switched to Housekeeping at Grace Hospital before retiring. Left to cherish his memories is his daughter Amber Tallent(Bj Tallent), brothers Neil Vance ( Kathy), Chuck Vance (Missy), nieces Nichole Bentley(Chris), Christy Mullinax (Joey), Kayla Sauberan (Curtis)and several great nieces and nephews. He also had a sweet dog, named Charlie that filled a special place in his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary and Charles Vance, brother Charlie Vantz, and several other family members. Family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
