Deanna Jo Moses Norville, 85, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Amorem Hospice following a period of declining health.

Deanna was born July 30, 1941, in Cleveland County to the late Robert Moses and Leona Wortman Greene. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse until retiring from Broughton and found great joy in helping others. Her many hobbies included reading, crocheting, sewing, and tending her vegetable and flower gardens, but she especially loved cooking and baking for family dinners.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Ross; brother, John Junior Whisnant; grandson, Stoney Pritchard; great grandson, Jacob Wright; aunt, Madine Green; and uncle, Harold Gates.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Cook and husband Kenneth, and Kathy Derinda Swink; grandchildren, Jason Cook and Amanda Cook; great grandchildren, Sarah, Michelle, Daniel, Rashell, Joshua, and Faithley; and her beloved dog, Conchita.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cook Family Cemetery on Wards Gap Rd. with Rev. Randy Cook officiating.
