Debbie Carswell Miller, 69, of Connelly Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 following a period of declining health.

Debbie was born May 31, 1957 in Burke County, a daughter of the late Howard “Buck” Carswell and Judy Lail Carswell. Debbie was the sweetest soul. She had a lot of love for everyone around her, especially her family. She had a deep love for God.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Edwin Miller; her sister, Vickie Cole; and nephews, Andrew Cole and Joshua Cole.

Those left to cherish her memory include her great nieces, Marie Laws (Ricky), and her children Christian Bradshaw, Kyleigh Laws, and Malachi Laws; and Skyla Cole (Riley Whisnant); and a brother-in-law, Bobby Cole.

The family will hold funeral services at a later date.
