Dennis Pete Bentley

Dennis Pete Bentley, 73, of Morganton, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Dennis was born December 21, 1951 in Iredell County to the late Hansford Bentley and Lucille Ferguson Bentley. He worked in the manufacturing business most of his life and loved to read and collect books.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Steven Bentley and Kevin Bentley.

He is survived by his brothers, Terry Bentley and wife Betty, and Michael Bentley and wife Patty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
