Dennis Ray Berry Jr.

Dennis Ray Berry Jr., 50, of Morganton, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his home, following his battle with cancer.

Dennis was born March 22, 1975 in Burke County to Dora McGee Costner and the late Dennis Ray Berry Sr. He loved to work on cars, drag car racing, and playing cornhole.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Brittanni Arrowood and husband Colton; grandson, Tripp Arrowood; stepparents, Susan and Chris Pons; sisters, Tammy Clark and husband David, and Jessie Huffman; nephews, Travis, Daniel, and Jordan Clark, and James and Jacob Farr; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A receiving of friends will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the Berry family.
