Mr. Edward Jay Hallyburton, 76, of Morganton, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Five Oaks Rehab Center in Concord, following a period of declining health.
Edward was born on September 30, 1948, in Warrington, England to the late Jay Vance Hallyburton and Veronica Laff Hallyburton. He was a retired pipe fitter and plumber. Edward had a tremendous love of music and was very talented with many instruments and in several different genres.
A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date.
Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory of Valdese is assisting the Hallyburton family.
