Frances Louise Lowman Lingerfelt

Frances Louise Lowman Lingerfelt, 74, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at her residence following a brief illness.

Frances was born May 26, 1951 in Burke County. A daughter of Doc and Ruth Wiseman. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and deeply loved the Lord and reading her bible. She was a very giving woman and enjoyed watching TV and playing games.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Carl Elrod and James Lingerfelt; brother, Horace Lowman; and her dog, Coco.

She is survived by her sons, Greg Burleson and wife Joy, James Burleson and wife Deana; and David Whisenant and wife Sara; grandchildren, Felicia Owenby and husband Richard, Megan Franklin and husband Matthew, Elizabeth Chaffin and husband Charles, Sebastian Burleson, Casey Lowman and husband Dacota, Shelby Burleson, Gavin Burleson, Katlyn Burleson, Alex Whisnant, and Sage Whisnant; nine great-grandchildren (and one on the way); and brother, Vertis Lowman.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
