Gregory Michael Williams

Mr. Gregory Michael Williams, 60, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his residence, following a period of declining health.

Greg was born on November 22, 1965, in Burke County to Joyce Mayfield Wiliams and the late Lewis Williams. He was previously employed as a dye house operator in the hosiery industry. Greg enjoyed being outdoors, and loved playing golf, or going hunting and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids and family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Scott and Tim Williams.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is his wife, Tracy Pittman Williams of the home, two daughters, Ashley Willams of the home, and Vanessa Williams Maynor and husband Drew of Morganton. Also surviving are two sisters, Sharon Laws and husband Scott, Katie Ramsey and husband Phil, and three beloved grandchildren: Bryson, Brianna and Bristol.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
