James Gary Timmons

Mr. James Gary Timmons, 63, of George Hildebrand, passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2025, at his residence after a period of declining health.

Mr. Timmons was born, May 10, 1962, in Sumter, S.C., a son of the late Jimmy and Linda Cunningham Timmons. He was a former employ of HK Research of Hickory as a lab technician. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and truly loved his whole family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Timmons.

Surviving are his wife, Ruthie Hackney Timmons of the home, a son Matt Timmons (Amanda) and a daughter, Sarah Foster, two sisters, Vickie Graham and Julie Bettencourt. Also surviving are the apples of his eye, his grandchildren, Elleck Foster, Kelli Foster, Shelly Foster and Tyler Brown.

The family will receive friends on Monday July 7, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.
