Jamie Leigh Feimster Meadows, 41, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday December 15, 2025, at Amorem, Burke Hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Meadows was born, December 10, 1984, in Catawba County, a daughter of Cathey Berry Feimster and the late Brian Feimster. As a young lady, dance and local pageants occupied her time with trophies and awards coveted. Little Miss Valdese grew into an athletic child who enjoyed soccer as well as other outdoor activities. After school she found herself in her work and after growing into an accomplished woman, she started a family and left careers behind. She became the greatest mother any child could ask for, from cheer to soccer, to gymnastics, to baseball, from golf to swimming, she was and is her children’s biggest fan.
Jamie battled cancer to the very end and will be forever remembered for her spirit, her fight and her faith. Her transition to peace will not be the final chapter in her legacy, but will be a banner in which her Husband, Children, Family and Friends will live out their lives under “Momento Mori”.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband Jeff Meadows, daughter, Carleigh Meadows (Riley Cooper), sons, Ian Meadows and Creek Meadows. Also surviving are her sister, Rachel Rodriguez and brothers, Brett Feimster and Timothy Feimster and wife Alisha.
A Celebration of Life for Jamie Leigh Meadows will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday December 20, 2025, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Keith Childers officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese.
Memorials may be made to Amorem, Burke Hospice, 1721 Enon Rd., Valdese, NC 28690.
