Janice Rudisill Scarborough

Mrs. Janice Rudisill Scarborough, 84, of Granite Falls, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Hickory Falls Health & Rehab Nursing Center, following a period of declining health.

Janice was born on June 7, 1941, in Catawba County, to the late Guy Rudisill and Ester Huffman Rudisill. She was an active member over the years of The Eastern Star, The Lions Club and The Daughters of the American Revolution and was retired from the Employment Security Commission.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Scarborough and a brother, Harold Huffman and wife Helen.

Survivors include two nephews, Randy Huffman and wife Kathy of Vale and Allen Huffman and wife Tammy of Vale. Also surviving are a number of great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Oakwood Cemetery in Hickory.
