Jann Reece LeFevers

Jann Reece LeFevers, 70, of Morganton, passed away on Tuesday September 8, 2026, at UNC Blueridge, after a period of declining health.

Jann was born October 3, 1955, in Burke County, a daughter of the late Leonard and Helen Doris Powell Reece. Jann was employed as a CNA with Broughton Hospital and was a horticulturist, owning her own landscaping business,” Jann Design and Maintenance”. Jann loved to read, and enjoyed art, gardening, music, playing bocce, volunteering at the Valdese Rotary Park and baking for family and friends. She was proud of her Waldensian Heritage and worked hard to preserve it.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband and friend of 44 years, Carter LeFevers, two sons, Phillip Fender and Aaron Huffman and wife Angie and daughter, Dawn Carter. Also surviving are the apples of her heart, her six grandchildren, Lana and Ella Huffman, Kaiya, Luke, Lila and Koen Carter.

A Celebration of Life will be held by her family at a later date.
