Jason Ricky Houser

Mr. Jason Ricky Houser, 62, of Hickory, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Carolina Rehab & Nursing Center, following a brief illness.

Jason was born on May 21, 1964, in Lincoln County to Bennett Houser and the late Joann Jones. He was previously employed in the construction industry.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna Lynn Houser, a sister, Melanie Houser, one brother, Todd Leonard and a granddaughter, Allison Osorto-Rodriguez.

Surviving are his two children, daughter, Melissa Jane Osorto-Rodriguez and husband Marvin of Hickory, and his son, Jonathan Houser and wife Jamie of Lincolnton. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren; Jason Jeremiah Houser, Haleigh Houser, Zackary Bonham, Kevin Osorto-Rodriguez, Ethan Osorto-Rodriguez, Natalia Osorto-Rodriguez, Ricky Houser, Summer Houser, Elliott Houser and Tucker Pittman, by his one brother, Mark Leonard, and close family friends, Melanie Craig, Monica Masters and Kendra Goins.

A private celebration of life service will be held by the family at a later date.
