Jeanette Beryl Pedersen of Rutherford College passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. She was born in London, England on January 21, 1935.

She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, her identical twin sister, Joyce, her brother-in-law, and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years.

She was a strong and determined woman who lived in many places throughout her life. She also found great pleasure in gardening and walking, enjoying the beauty of the outdoors and the simple things in life. At times, she worried, especially about those she loved. These qualities were part of what made her uniquely herself: a woman with a strong spirit and a caring heart.

As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, her faith was an important part of her life. Her favorite scripture was Revelation 11:18, reflecting her appreciation for Jehovah’s promise concerning the earth and the hope for a future free from the things that cause suffering.

We find comfort in the Bible’s promise of a resurrection, recorded at John 5:28, 29, and look forward to the time when our loved ones can live again. This hope brings us comfort as we remember her and look ahead to the fulfilment of Jehovah’s promises.

Although we deeply feel her loss, we are grateful for the time we shared together. Her strength, determination, and love of nature are memories we hold close. We look forward to the day when Jehovah fulfills his promises and we will see her again.
