Jeffrey Lee McGalliard

Jeffrey Lee McGalliard, 63, of Valdese, passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at Amorem of Hudson, after a period of declining health.

Jeffrey was born September 27, 1962 in Burke County, a son of the late Elgie McGallliard, Jr and LaVonda Griffin McGalliard. He was employed in the textile manufacturing industry as a weaver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by the mother of his child, Lisa Ledford.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Keely McGalliard and partner, Candice Eckard of Cat Square in Vale, NC, his fiancée, Brenna, step-mother, Rheba Houser of Valdese, step-children, Dustin Ledford and partner Daniel Lasher of Morganton, Heather Sparks and husband Ethan and their child, Silas of Spruce Pine, brother-in-law, James Andrews of Drexel, sisters in law, Nancy Buchanan (Jerry) of Fort Lawn, SC and Judy Hughes of Drexel. Also surviving are his special aunt and uncle Cathy and Bobby Burns of Valdese.

Funeral Services for Jeffery Lee McGalliard will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday October 3, 2025 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Tim Crouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Burke Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at Heritage Funeral Service.
