Jimmy Lee Dillingham, 75, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at UNC Blue Ridge Healthcare following a period of declining health.

Jimmy was born April 4, 1951 in Catawba County to the late James Dillingham and Annie Louise Rinehardt Dillingham. Jimmy was always known to be a people person and enjoyed being a mechanic and martial arts.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Wheatley; and sister, Sandra Hughes.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Nancy Lipford Dillingham; son, Shawn Dillingham and wife Carol; daughter, Kendra Dillingham; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Dillingham and wife Sandy, Garry Dillingham, Franklin Dillingham, and Clyde Dillingham and wife Marie; sisters, Delores Mack, and Phyllis Dillingham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Buster Dula officiating.
