Jimmy Alonzo Moses, 73, of Valdese, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center following a brief illness.

Jimmy was born July 10, 1952 in Burke County, a son of the late Elon Charles and Lul Tempie Smith Moses. He was a good brother and husband and will be missed by his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his domestic partner of thirty years, Janet Shore; brother, David Moses (Karen); and nephew, David Lee Moses.

No services will be held at this time.
