After retiring from Hardee’s, he continued working part-time with H&R Block. A man of strong faith, John was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he worshiped for over 40 years. He was also a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Financial Secretary and Grand Knight. John was a lifelong learner who found joy in crossword puzzles, game shows, and cheering on all Wisconsin Sports teams. He was forever on the hunt for the perfect slice of pie.
