Joyce Levon Manus, 81, of Morganton, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday March 22, 2026 (one day before her birthday) after a period of declining health.

Mrs. Manus was born March 23, 1944, in Mobile, AL, a daughter of the late Timothy Joe and Lillie Howell Spence. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and most enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Victory Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Richard Manus, Jr., brothers Timothy Spence, Kenneth Spence, Jerry Doyle Spence and a sister, Linda Schneider.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Terry Parsons (Larry) of Morganton, Lesa Burleson (Cliff Robinson) of Morganton, two sisters, Melba Sharp of Grand Bay, AL and Cheryl Brinkman of Bay Minette, AL Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Brent Burns (Taylor), Crystal Blankenship (Chad), Jeramey Parsons (Liz), Travis Burns (Nicole), Kaitlyn Blake (Deven) and great-grandchildren, Laken Blankenship, Lily Burns, Zaylee Blankenship, Caleb Burns, Junah Parsons, Silas Parsons, Maykala Ly and Kadence Lo.

Funeral Services for Joyce Levon Manus will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday March 26, 2026, at Victory Chapel Baptist Church, Morganton. Interment will follow in the Victory Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Thursday at Victory Chapel Baptist Church.
