She also gave generously of her time and talents in serving others through participating in mission trips with her church, providing respite care for family members as a Hospice volunteer, and joyfully attending and participating in school and athletic activities with her seven grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Leonard Scarlett and sister in-law, Nancy Scarlett.

Joyce is survived by her beloved husband,of 62 years, Trossie Wall, Jr., and three sons, Tripp Wall and his wife Lisa of Rutherford College, Sam Wall and his wife Anissa of Drexel, and Daniel Wall and his wife Erin of Icard. She is lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Scarlett Bryant and her husband Trevor, Amelia Williams and her husband Briar, Ben Wall, Molly Wall, Abigail Wall, Davis Wall, Jackson Wall, Clark Byant, and another great-grandson on the way.
