Lesa Deann Manus Burleson, 60, of Morganton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 25, 2026, at home.

Lesa was born July 2, 1965 in Mobile, Alabama, a daughter of the late Clyde Richard Manus, Jr., and Joyce Levon Spence Manus.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband of ten years, Terry Gene Burleson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Cliff Robinson; children, Raymond Brent Burns (Taylor) of Morganton, Crystal Burns Blankenship (Chad) of Ferguson, NC, Travis Scott Burns (Nicole) of Morganton, and Kaitlyn Brook Blake (Deven) of Hickory; sister, Terry Parsons (Larry); grandchildren, Laken Blankenship, Lily Burns, Zaylee Blankenship, and Caleb Burns.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 2:45 PM at McDowell Memorial Park with Pastor Eddy Bunton officiating.

A Receiving of Friends will be held for Lesa and her mother, Joyce Manus, on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory is assisting the family.
