Linda McLean Dellinger, 69, of Valdese, passed away on Thursday July 23, 2026, at Amorem, Burke Hospice, after a brief illness.

Linda was born December 23, 1956, in Burke County, a daughter of the late Lowman and Fonda Pyatte McLean. She was a member of the High Peak Baptist Church and employed with Kellex Seating Furniture Company as a scheduling manager. She started with Crestline and was faithful through all the changes from one company to another for over 40 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Dellinger and three brothers, Dennis, Roger and David McLean.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Brandy Cox Turbyfill (Jeffery) of Morganton and Amber Nichole Cox (James Carroll) of Vale, siblings, Kathy Puette (Jack) of Morganton, Ann Campbell (Maynard) of Valdese, Steve McLean (Pam) of Valdese and Lowman McLean, Jr. of Hickory. Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, David Brittain (Brittney), Nicole Donovan, Sarah Rapan, Karla Thomas, Gavin Cox, Holly Cox (Jarrett), Olivyah Carroll, Celia Dellinger and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Linda McLean Dellinger will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday July 31, 2026, in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, Valdese, with Pastor Chris Brittain officiating. Interment will follow in the High Peak Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 P.M. Friday at Heritage Funeral Service.
