Linda Faye Hoilman Robinson, 61, of Valdese, North Carolina, passed away on February 9, 2026.

Linda was born February 24, 1964 in Yancey County to the late Millard Hoilman and Blondie Grindstaff Hoilman.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family was the center of her world, and everything she did came from a place of love and care for those closest to her. She took great pride in her home and found joy in the simple things—working in her yard, caring for her beloved pets Sassy Wassy, Bella, and Charlie, doing puzzles, yard selling, playing card games, and making her home a place of comfort. She had a fun and loving spirit that drew people to her. Linda will be remembered as a beautiful woman with a contagious laugh and a warm heart who loved everyone she met. Her presence brought light, humor, and love into the lives of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Cathy Sue, Geneva, Pansy, Katy, and Maryanne; and her brothers, Terry, Dennis, Glenn, Gene, and Edward.

Linda is survived by her husband, Marcus “Mark” Robinson; her children, Monica Solesby (Anthony Solesby), Michelle Green (Scott Green), Melia Robinson (Martin Morales), and Michael Robinson; and her eight cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Glenda Roe, and her brother, Henry Hoilman.

Linda’s love for her family, her joyful spirit, and the warmth she brought into every room will never be forgotten. She will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Februay 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service. 

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
