Makenzi D'Shae Hare

Makenzi D’shae Hare, 31, of Hildebran, went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 28, 2025.

Makenzi was born November 22, 1993 in Burke County, a daughter of Frankie and Jan Weaver Hare.

“Kenzi” was very smart and could fix anything electronic. She loved her dog “Zyn” who was like a child to her and her boyfriend, Matt Ayotte.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Eva Nell Weaver, her uncles Keith Bridges, Mark Bridges, David Dunn and aunt Paula Weaver Wyatt.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers Patrick Rhymer and wife Amanda, Chris Hare, sister Tori Sigmon and husband Tyler and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Poovey’s Chapel Baptist Church in Hudson at a later date to be determined.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
