Mikeal Stacy Lingle

Mikeal Stacy Lingle, 55, of Lenoir, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Frye Regional Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Mikeal was born on January 6, 1970, in Burke County, a son of Gene Stacy Lingle and the late Georgia Aileen Hatley. He loved to hunt and fish. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye, and he loved playing with them and spoiling them. He was a proud father and grandfather.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty-two years, Kimberly Ann Lingle; father, Gene Stacy Lingle; children, Hunter Thomas Lingle (Alexandrea) and Amber Michelle Lingle (Austin); Remi-Anne Lingle, Miles Smith, Georgia Lingle, Mattie Smith, and Benson Mikeal Lingle; aunts, Greta Ecret and Wanda Townsend; niece, Kerstin VanHuss; and longtime friend and brother, Mike Dula.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Welcome Home Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
