Ned Julius Suttle, 72, of Morganton, passed away on Monday August 24, 2026 at Amorem, Burke Hospice, Valdese, after a period of declining health.

Mr. Suttle was born July 22, 1954 in Burke County, a son of the late James Ervin and Dorothy Suttle. He retired after many years of service as a tow truck driver in the Hosiery Manufacturing Industry. Ned was a faithful member of the Central Baptist Church.

Mr. Suttle loved classic cars and most of all he loved his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Wendy Crawley; sons, Jason Suttle and wife April, Jeffrey Suttle and wife Tabitha, and Billy McGee; and a number of brothers and sisters. Also surviving are the apples of his eye, his grandchildren: Jennifer Barrier, Hunter Seagle, Karigan Poteet, Spencer Suttle, Justin Crow, Jacob Suttle, Chase Suttle; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held at the residence of his daughter at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday September 5, 2026. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Valdese.
