Patricia Baker

Mrs. Patricia Ellen Baker, 73, of Morganton, passed away on Wednesday at Amorem, Burke Hospice, after a period of declining health.

Mrs. Baker was born July 8, 1952 in Peshtigo, WI, a daughter of the late Oscar and Gloria Jandry Kniskern Andre. Patricia retired, after many years of service, as a career counselor with Western Piedmont Community College. She had a love for all animals, especially cats.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Chris Baker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Joshua Baker and wife Zoe Shear of Durham, Marissa Baker of Morganton and her brother, David Andre of WI.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date, to be announced.
