Patricia Reynolds Murray

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia “Patti” Murray, who died on July 24, 2025 at the age of 65 in Valdese, North Carolina. Patti was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed.

Patti was born in Miami, Florida. She attended Southwest Miami Senior High School. After high school, she went on to become a realtor where she and her mother Dorothy “Dot” worked together in the business in Peachtree City, GA and Alachua, FL. Patti and her husband Ralph moved to Connelly Springs, NC in the last years of her life where they have enjoyed fishing, spending time with their beloved dogs, and being active members with their church family at Smarts Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy “Dot” Kenner, her father Charles Reynolds Sr, and her brother Charles “Chuck” Reynolds Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Murray, of Connelly Springs, NC; her two daughters, Jennifer Arguinzoni-Ward and Katie Arguinzoni-Winans, her son Nicholas Murray, as well as her grandchildren Jocelyn, Owen, Jolene, and Eva. She has one living brother, John Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held at Smarts Grove Baptist Church on Sunday July 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
