Paul Herbert Shuffler, 86, of Morganton, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at home.
Paul was born September 18, 1939 in Burke County, a son of the late Will Gaines and Mary Williams Shuffler. He had a very entrepreneurial spirit in his later years and started a variety of businesses. He deeply loved his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by wife, Sharon Shuffler; brothers, George, John, and Billy Ray “Dude;” and sisters, Sue, Lena, and Betty.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Will Shuffler (Sara) and Scott Shuffler; grandchildren, Chandler Shuffler, Laikynn Shuffler, and Breeley Cushing; brothers, Ron Shuffler (Laura) and Joe Shuffler (Sue); and numerous nieces and nephews.
His wishes were that no services be held at this time.
Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory is assisting the family.
