Mr. Randy Dean Mabrey, 64, of Connelly Springs, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at his residence, following a period of declining health.

Randy was born on March 27, 1961, in Burke County to Olen Ray Mabrey and Jean Rogers Mabrey. He was a member of Burns Memorial Baptist Church and was formerly employed as a fixer in the hosiery industry.

Surviving in addition to his parents, is his sister, Diane Huffman and husband Randy of Connelly Springs, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Dwight Lowman officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Rutherford College.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
