Ronald Glen Dickens Jr.

Ronald Glen “Bubby” Dickens Jr., 59, of Valdese passed away on Monday, June 14, 2025 at his residence, following a period of declining health.

Bubby was born October 5, 1965 in West Virginia to the late Ronald Glen Dickens Sr., and Geraldine McKinney Dickens. He worked as a butcher and in his spare time loved to fish and collecting knives.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Dickens; brother, Jerry Dickens; several step-brothers and step-sisters; two nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
