Ronald Travis Greene

Ronald Travis Greene, 56, of Morganton, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at his residence following a period of declining health.

Travis was born June 19, 1969 in Burke County to the late Roland William Greene and Shirley Hice Greene. He loved riding his motorcycle and listening to music; but most of all he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of thirty eight years, Carmen Robbins Greene; daughters, Jessica Stilwell and husband Bill, Nikki Hood and husband Kalib, and Amanda Greene; grandchildren, Faith Silwell, Will Stilwell, Jaxon Stilwell, Scarlett Stilwell, Abbie Hood, Maddison Hood, Lilly Bumgarner, Loukas Whisnant, and Lyric Buchanan, sister, Francis Lane and husband David; brothers, Willie Greene and wife Rita, Eric Greene and wife Lori, and Todd Greene and wife Priscilla; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December, 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Bill Stilwell officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
