Ronnie Allen Icard, 59, of Connelly Springs, passed away at Catawba Valley Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Ronnie was born May 9, 1967 in Burke County, a son of Tony Davis and Jean Wycoff Icard. He loved to watch NASCAR and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed boar hunting and fishing and owned his own construction company for several years. Many will know him from his time working at Granny’s Kitchen.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents; daughters, Dakota Jones (Zak) and Kayleigh Icard; brother, Casey Icard; grandchild, Henderson; uncle, Mike Wycoff; cousin, Brandon Wycoff; longtime companion, Jeanine; and numerous other family members.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
