Sherry Ann Bolick Rhyne, 62, of Morganton, passed away on Monday August 10, 2026, at UNC Healthcare Blue Ridge, after a period of declining health.

Sherry was born February 13, 1964, in Valdese, a daughter of the late Joe and Barbara Goode Bolick. She was a member of Drexel First Baptist Church and employed as the cook at Bud’s Corner Kitchen. She was known and loved by everyone as the best cook in town.

Surviving are her husband, Mark Rhyne, a son, Christopher Rhyne, a daughter, Paige Rhyne and special grandson, Baden Harden. Also surviving are her niece, who was like a sister, Bobbi Neaves and her sons, Jack and Jonathan who loved her very much.

The family will have a Service of Remembrance at 3:00 P.M. Thursday August 13,2026 in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Gene Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the Abernethy Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery.
