Susan Lynn Isaacs, 69, of Valdese, passed away on Sunday August 9, 2026 at Amorem, Burke Hospice, after a period of declining health.

Susan was born April 22, 1957, in Avery County, a daughter of the late Jewel and Myrtle Clark Nelson. She was a faithful employee of Auria Manufacturing Co., with over seventeen years of service.

Surviving are her son, Mark Isaacs of Elizabethton, TN and two daughters, Crystal Stacey and husband Chris of Morganton and Michelle Clontz and husband Marty of Baton. Also surviving are the apples of her eye, her two grandsons, Noah Clontz and Rylan Clontz.

A Private family celebration will be held at a later date.
