Teresa Ann Pitman

Teresa Ann Robinson Pitman, 59, of Valdese, passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2026, at Amorem, Burke Hospice, after a period of declining health.

Mrs. Pitman was born March 5, 1967, in Burke County, a daughter of the late Airlen Lee and Grace Ellen Freeman Robinson. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church and the owner of Stogner’s Cleaning and All Pro Cleaning for many years, before retiring as the supervisor over housekeeping at J. Iverson Riddle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Brother Carl Lee Robinson, and several fur babies.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Greg Pitman, two children, John Stogner (Misty) and Jessica Stogner Tugman (Ty), step- children, Coty Pitman (Amy), Ashley Pitman, Jeff Stogner, Jr. and Janice Stogner, and a sister, Angela Moses (Bobby). Also surviving are her niece, April Steele, nephew, Eddie Alderson and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her fur babies that she loved, including favorite grand-cat, Charlie Boy.

A celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, at Trinity Baptist Church.
