Terry Lynn Turner

Terry Lynn Turner, 63, of Hildebran, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Terry was born December 19, 1962 in Burke County to the late Billy Dean Turner and Doris Day Turner. He worked as a plumber and in his spare time loved hunting, fishing, and listening to rock music.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Chambers.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Aleta Ethridge Turner; daughters, Kellie Turner (Jessee Deal), Teri Isaacs and husband Kyle; granddaughters, Taylor Young and husband Brent, Destiny Detter, Jalynn Smith and husband Austin; and great-granddaughter, Emerlynn Young. Also surviving are his brothers, Robert Turner and wife Diane, Carol Turner and wife Brenda, Tracy Turner and wife Toni, and Roger Turner and wife Anna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Pastor Rick Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
