William D. Harmon, 81, of Connelly Springs passed away on Saturday March 7, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center, after a period of declining health.

Mr. Harmon was born on August 17, 1944, in Banner Elk, NC, a son of the late William F. and Mary Mae Ward Harmon. William was faithful member of Fresh Fire Church in Hildebran and retired as a machinist in the furniture manufacturing industry.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Wanda Pauline Rominger Harmon of the home, two brothers, Johnny Harmon, Randy Harmon and a sister, Philis Lambert. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews who he loved very much.

Funeral Services for William D. Harmon will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 13, 2026, at Fresh Fire Church, Hildebran with Rev. Sam Crow officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookford City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Friday at Fresh Fire Church.
